White Gold Rings
White gold is a gold alloy finished with a rhodium plating, which is where the bright, cool white comes from. It keeps white stones looking white and pairs cleanly with silver-toned jewellery you already wear.
You choose the fineness, the width, an optional stone and the engraving here, and the ring is made once you are done.

Living with white gold
The plating wears over years of daily use, first on the underside of the band. When it does, the warmer alloy underneath begins to show and the ring can be re-plated. That is how the metal behaves rather than a fault in the piece.
14 carat white gold is harder and holds up better to knocks; 18 carat carries more gold and reads slightly richer. If you wear several rings on the same finger, keeping them at the same fineness stops the softer one wearing into the harder one.

Every ring is made to order in a German goldsmith's workshop and any stones are set by hand. The engraving on the inside is free and delivery is free.
